The Skyline Drive-In, located in Shelbyville, Indiana, has announced a weekend celebrating the British films studio Amicus, which specialized in making horror anthology films. Over two days, Friday March 25th and Saturday, March 26th, they will be screening 6 titles from Amicus, and all of them anthologies! In fact, some of these are some of the best that studio put out! Here’s the lineup:
Friday the 25th
Dr. Terrors House of Horrors (1965)
The House that Dripped Blood (1971)
Asylum (1972)
Saturday the 26th
Torture Garden (1967)
From Beyond the Grave (1974)
Vault of Horror (1973)
For additional information, head over to the Facebook events page HERE. Unfortunately, I will be at the HorrorHound Weekend in Cincinnati that same weekend so I will be missing this epic opportunity . . . which really sucks. But if you’re not going to HorrorHound, then I would recommend heading over to Shelbyville for this awesome event.
That sounds like a frighteningly good line-up of movies! I wish we still had the Drive-ins around where I live in Southern Colorado. Our local Outdoor theaters shut down around 1995 (some used to show classic Creature Features on weekends). Miss those days!!

Sorry to hear that, Todd. Being in the Midwest, I’m fortunate to have a few of them reasonably close by. And I try to visit them as much as I can. Although, this one is happening the same weekend as HorrorHound in Cincinnati, so I won’t be able to make it. Pretty bummed about it too!
