Is the Drive-In Open Yet?

Midway Maniac

Okay, so while there is still snow on the ground and the temps are below freezing, maybe it might be a little early to be hitting the drive-ins. BUT… it is a great time to start making plans to attend them, especially when there are already all night horror shows scheduled.

The Midway Drive-In, our favorite and closest drive-in theater to us, will be hosting a Grindhouse Drive-In Fest, featuring four classic horror films from the Grindhouse era, taking place on Saturday, April 18th. They haven’t announced the titles yet, but I can only assume they are going to have some great titles playing. As always, they will also have vintage trailers and concession ads, as well as a few horror vendors there (including US!) to make the event even more fun! So mark your calendar for that date and come out and enjoy some great films with some other like-minded drive-in enthusiast! Check out the website HERE for more details when they become available.

If you live in the Pittsburg area, there is the annual April Ghouls Monster-Rama at the Riverside Drive-In, in Vandergift, PA. Taking place on April 24th and 25th, they have once again come up with quite a lineup of films for both days. See the below for the titles. For more details on that show, head to their website HERE.

And while there are no details on the Skyline Drive-In’s Super Monster Movie Fest as far as the features, they do have the date listed as Aug. 21st & 22nd. We go to this one on a regular basis and always have a blast. Keep your eyes peeled on their website HERE for more details when they become available.

We’ll see you at the Drive-In!!!
