2017 Year End Review – Part 1

This last year has definitely been an interesting one, and a very busy one here at the Krypt. But then I guess that keeps me out of trouble, right? In our travels in 2017, we attended another seven conventions plus more than a couple other fun events like movie marathons, drive-ins, and such, and had a blast. What a great way to celebrate cinema!

It was also a pretty good year for the Krypt business-wise, and the same with my wife Dawn’s little business, Horror Slave. In case you didn’t realize it, she is the one always next to me at shows selling her homemade pillows and tote bags. We’ve added a few more designs this last year and the response has been great. I keep the “selling” part of the Krypt off of this site because I don’t want people thinking I’m trying to sell them something when they come here. I’ll leave that for the shows. Speaking of which, as I had posted early in the month, we have our tentative schedule for next year’s World Tour, which you can find at the top of the page, right under our graphic. Our 2018 World Tour will be something special too!

Next year will be my 20th year of running Kitley’s Krypt! I even find it hard to believe sometimes that it has been that long since I started my ranting, way back in October of 1998. So next year, I’m planning on a few special things to commemorate this achievement. I’ll be having some special anniversary T-shirts at the conventions throughout the year. The design is still being worked out but once it’s finalized I’ll post more information then. I’m also hoping to have some Kitley’s Krypt enamel pins made up of our logo as well. So 2018 is looking to be a good year for us here at the Krypt, and my wife and I can’t wait to start the 2018 World Tour next March.
